Short Biography
Marcos received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Porto in 2010 and his M.S. in Experimental Pathology from the University of Coimbra in 2013, in Portugal. After his Master’s he worked in the field of Molecular Neuroscience in Tiago Outeiro’s Lab at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular (iMM) in Lisbon, as a Research Fellow. After receiving his fellowship to join the Doctoral programme in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine of the University of Coimbra, he joined João Peça’s Lab at the CNC-UC and Guoping Feng’s Lab as a visiting graduate student, in 2016.
