Short Biography
Qian’s research interests are to understand the molecular & cellular and circuit mechanisms of neurological diseases, especially autism. His research employs a variety of techniques such as molecular biology, genetic manipulation, in vivo two-photon calcium imaging and animal behavior. Now, Qian is focusing on finding the neuronal circuit deficits in the autistic brain.
